TAU Racing - A Case Study
We undertook a project with TAU (Team Aberdeen University) Racing to assist them with productivity in their workshop. We have been a partner and sponsor of TAU Racing for the last 8 years. Each year a dedicated team of students design, build, market and race a car to compete in the Formula Student Competition held at Silverstone.
THE OBJECTIVE: for TAU Racing was to help them to utilise the space in their workshop more effectively.
THE RESULTS: from working with us and implementing a systematic '5S' approach were:
- Placing 6th out of 81 teams in the competition
- Additional testing time as a result of increased efficiency
- Enhanced workshop space
- Improved safety in their workspaces
- Decreased frustration
